I suppose this is a minor point which was lost in all the ... humor ... but DailyKos actually had very little to do with the Paul Hackett/Ohio-02 stuff. Kos was on the road, interviewing subjects for an upcoming book, and made his first Hackett comment on July 25, weeks after blogs like SwingStateProject, Ohio-02 and MyDD had been hyping the race. Kos never even put up a donation jar for Hackett like he did for his 2004 roster (which actually included one winner, Barack Obama, who was de-emphasized after it was clear he would win).
I'm really not sure why conservative bloggers attribute so much power and influence to Kos. It's like ... what a moonbat would do.
